Seminars will cover long-term investment strategies emphasizing cost reduction and diversification that you can use to save for retirement, your child’s college education, or any long-term savings goal. There will be a mix of basic and advanced topics.
These seminars are for educational and networking purposes only (no sales pitch). If you are an experienced DIY investor, feel welcome to participate and share your own experiences and knowledge. You might even learn something new along the way.

About Edwin Choi, CFA
Prior to starting Mariposa, Edwin Choi spent several years as a portfolio manager with Merrill Lynch in New York. He was last a Director managing proprietary investments in credit derivatives and structured credit products.
Edwin holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics in Finance from NYU and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley. Edwin is a CFA charterholder and has passed the CFP exam. Edwin gets particularly annoyed by 401k plans without an index fund option.
